Herbal Essences – Beautiful Ends (Intensive Mask)

Before a short time ago, I had never tried a hair mask before. Ever. On a trip to superdrug, I noticed lots of Herbal Essences were cheaps! So I grabbed me tousled shampoo and conditioner, I also picked up this hair mask , all at less than half their usual price. Otherwise, I’d have not bothered and stuck with Superdrugs own brand cheap stuff.

I also went, ended up buying another tub of this, the matching shampoo, and the tousle mask too (which isn’t as good as this imo, the effect wasn’t a whole lot different to the ordinary conditioner for me.

I tried this out. Left it in like it says, washed it out and dried my hair. I was astounded. I honestly wasn’t expecting much. Just thought it was a pot of conditioner. I was wrong. My hair was the softest it has EVER been, felt so much thicker, looked it, tame, smooth, a little more glossy. Wow. I can not rave about how just how amazing I found this product to be!

I was surprised at the shade of pink it was though. It felt like ordinary conditioner in my hair. I ended up buying the shampoo (as previously mentioned) and I felt like a luscious little pony! I’ve already used up this pot, glad I got another. Though going to finish the tousle one first. When you’re done? Peel the stickers off… the tub makes a handy storage container! Mine is my new brush pot!

July Favourites

I present to you, my favourite products in July.

We have;

  • Superdrug‘s own brand Dry Shampoo.
  • Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Daily Scrub.
  • Sleek iDivine STORM Palette.
  • Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner.
  • Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara

Much love for these products!

Superdrug’s Dry Shampoo – Head in the Clouds.

I actually prefer Superdrug’s own brand dry shampoo to others like Batiste. It’s become one of my must have items. It doesn’t leave as powdery of a residue and it smells amazing. Not that the Batiste ones don’t smell good, but this is my favourite.

Clean and Clear – Blackhead Clearing Daily Scrub.

This stuff is amazing. I used to use it all the time when I was younger. I sorta began neglecting my skin care regime with all of the stress of moving and such. I picked it up and began using it again after my skin started to become problematic. Now? It’s so much better. This stuff does what it says on the tin. After just a couple of days, my skin had drastically improved. Use morning and night and you can see the difference. Only, I don’t like using scrubs so much on my face, this stuff is gentle. I also have the Blackhead Clearing Cleanser that they have but this product is far superior.

Sleek iDivine Palette – STORM

My local Superdrug does not sell Sleek. (Very disappointing!) Nor did my local one where I previously lived. I went in to Birmingham City Center and picked up their last Storm palette after catching a train a good few months back. I’d used it once or twice but not really had a “look” with it. I’ve been using it a lot more recently. You can see which colours I have been favouring. Much more my style!

Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer – 261 Noir

There is never a time I won’t pick this stuff up. I know many people frown upon black eyeliner in the day but it’s how I roll. More often than not. Just throwing on a bit of this eyeliner with my next product is my “go-to” look. Though since entering the make up community and especially since starting my blog, I’ve been experimenting a lot more and don’t use my “go-to” look very often anymore. But it is still a staple in my make up bag. Always with me.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara – Black

The one pictured was one of the first tubes I bought. Pink, exclusive to Superdrug. I also picked up the purple that was exclusive to Boots. I’m ever so fussy with mascara and this one just hit the spot. I would definatley recommend it. Not at all clumpy, though I would say it doesn’t really make your lashes look false either… haha. I intend to get my mits on there newer mascara when I can afford to (Looks like this, the same purple boots had exclusivley for this mascara) I can’t remember what it is called but it’s more “full” than this. I really want to try out its big brush and see how that works.

So, albeit late, just got the internet back, those are my July favourites. What are yours? Are any of these products amongst your favourites?
