Vivo have been floating around for a while now, so you’ve probably heard of them and their range. I’ve dipped my fingers in to their eyeshadows a fair few times… I bought a few singles… £1.50, then I realised that they’re MUA. You can get mono MUA eyeshadows for 50p less! What do I mean they’re MUA? They’re both made by FB Beauty… But MUA does not have a range of baked goodness.. baked goodness.. mhm.. calorie free….

So, anyways! I picked me up one of these babies for £4. Usually £6 but they had £2 off. Or rather, Robbie bought it for me <3 I love it. The little windows are little bubble orbs, which is a rather nice effect, and the eyeshadows themselves look like little plannets, they’re a funky, marbled orb! You get 1 baked blush and 4 eyeshadows in the palette. I love the colour combinations.

The more worn in to them you get, the better they seem to be. They’re more pigmented once you’ve gotten past the surface and the shade/tone also varies. Probably the mix of colouring. They have your usual pigmentation for baked products. I really like the blush. It’s a gorgeous soft pink with a hint of shimmer, that pretty “glow” look. I really quite like how the pans are set too. It’s good for fallout. Though there isn’t really a lot to be honest. ,,,,, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, <– that is my cat just walking over my laptop, she wants to be a bblogger. I have frequently tweeted about her stealing my make up brushes… As cute as cats are, I suppose you want swatches, right?

The third eyeshadow is more purple than I was expecting. I love it. Do you? Do you own or intend to purchase this palette?

I’m pretty open, you guys know that, and yesterday I tweeted a lot about how my health had a severe impact on my life. This week is M.E awareness week. So many people have never even heard of the condition.

Beauty became an outlet for me, I have had the condition for 6 years, and for a long time at the start, I was bed bound. Some of this you may find gross or whatever, but I don’t care. I would go weeks without having a proper wash, sometimes even then, I couldn’t wash properly. I’d often end up crawling on my hands and knees to go to the toilet. Sometimes, I couldn’t even crawl. I’d end up having to make a bedpan of some sort, I was too ashamed back then to have asked my parents for help, and it didn’t help that until the doctor threw it in their face (my conditions details, not my pee!) that they realised I was genuinely sick. My dad thought I was making it up to get out of school, thinking I was being bullied. Truth be told, I was really enjoying school! After that, I ended up bed bound, I missed 3 months of school with the exception of going in just for one day. It was horrible. I was so isolated.

When I finally could do a little more, the appearance I never used to care about, became something for me to care about. At first, it was me wanting to look healthy, normal you know? Then I realised, I enjoyed painting my nails all the colours of the rainbow, I enjoyed making a mess with eyeshadows, I loved it. I liked being able to say to my friends that “ahh, I’ve used that, it sucks” looking like I was really well versed it what seemed most important to girls my age at the time.

This post is not to tell you what M.E is, but just how it can effect someone, and just how much damage it can do.

Thanks to my condition, confining me to my bed, I never really /finished/ school. I was lucky to manage to pass an NVQ2 exam in English and passed with flying colours. With that and work I had already done from when I was still attending regularly, and a little more work, I was going to go for a GCSE under the special rules. I was half a Macbeth essay short. I was going to actually get put in for a Maths GCSE early originally, so I’d already done half of the coursework I was going to need, I just needed to do another and the NVQ test. I did the other piece of coursework, but I was too sick to do the test. I managed to go to an art class in April towards the very end of school. It was the last time I’d see a lot of people I thought were friends. It was scary. It was the only little part of a life I had and before I knew it, it was over. I’d pretty much slept it away.

I didn’t have a life for a long time. I tried, but I just couldn’t keep up. My supposedly best friend only living over the road never texted, called let alone visited. I became all the more isolated. My other best friend was in hospital. She came and visited me when she was out, it was the first thing she did, pretty much. My health very slowly improved, going up and down, two steps forward, one back. And we even started going out, we went bowling every month and it was fantastic. It really helped me a lot. It’s amazing just how much a little bit of support can do.

A lot of misconceptions about the illness. It’s all in the head, you’re lazy, you could get better if you put your mind to it, you just want attention, your a hyperchondriac. Not true at all. Not once did she judge me. She didn’t get angry or upset at me if I suddenly cancelled. With M.E, you can’t really keep to a schedule. You could feel fine then BAM, struggling to keep your eyes open, can’t move, fully exhausted and just STILL can’t get to sleep!

Nowadays, I need a cane to walk, some days, I need help to get up, go to the bathroom, have wash, eat, some days, I don’t. Though very recently my mobility is even worse and I’m trying to see about getting a wheelchair. Standing for more than a couple of minutes is so painful and exhausting. I’m young and there are pensioners that do it better than I do! It’s very embaressing and I don’t blame for thiking “that young’un can’t stand for just a fe more minutes?” no, I can’t. My legs are getting weak, my knees are giving way… oh look, I’m on the floor, don’t I look like a massive twat.

So, very long post! Haha, that’s the major bit of my story. I could write so much more but I’m not even sure how you guys will receive this post, if you’ll read it or if you even care; but I very much hope you do. I know it’s a strong topic at the moment after the campaign from Lush, so it’s worth mentioning that they do not test on animals! BUAV Approved!

The mask smells of tea tree and like every peel off I’ve used, it’s sticky. The smell made my eyes water, more than the cucumber mask does. However on the skin, it’s a lot more cooling and soothing and I felt rather fresh faced. It didn’t dry as quickly either, but you know when it’s time… The mask will dry and then you get the fun of peeling it off! I move my mouth so it loosens, it amuses me. I’m one of those who used to cover her hand in PVA glue in art class and peel it off. And you can also see some of the nasties when you peel it off too.

The moisturiser is thicker than the ones in the other mask, and smoother to apply than my regular tea-tree moisturiser. It would be nice if they did the moisturiser available to buy on it’s own actually. I didn’t find this to work as well for me as the cucmber mask.

Would you guys like a review on it? I had a lot of them, I’ve almost used them up now though. Will have to wait a while though as I’m on a spending ban! So you may see reviews of older/used products of mine. I have a lot of new nail polishes even though I’ve not really been painting my nails so much… Will eventually get round to showing you guys!

Would I buy this mask? Over the cucumber one? No way. I didn’t find it really did a whole lot for my skin really other than generally clean it in that way that masks do, but if your T zone needs some TLC, I wouldn’t advise you to steer clear. Not an amazing product like the others, but someone bought me some of these for.. idk, christmas? I would use them up.

The mask spreads a LOT on the face, a little goes an incredibly long way, more than any other one of their masks that I have tried so far. It seems like a very thin consistency, I rather liked the colour of it but I was disapointed it wasn’t purpley-lilac like the package indicates. I got my entire face and neck covered with the one sachet, you could maybe even get 2 uses out of it if you were less lavish with it, I reckon!

The mask dries to be very solid; harder than any mask I have tried before, which I was surpised about as it felt so thin and light on application. I laughed with it on, almost dry, dry around my mouth and it actually hurt, the mask was so hard! Not what I was expecting at all.

So, I lay back, relaxed, and waited for it to work its magic. I have a very shiny nose at times, especially recently, my skin had been extra oily too. I washed the mask off after it was done. Honestly? After the package portraying it wrong, the feel of application, which felt nice, but didn’t feel heavy enough to work, if you know what I mean, and how hard it dried to the point it kinda hurt, I really was expecting to just be here saying, sorry guys, I hate it. Nope.

I washed it off of my face, and I was astounded. My speckley blackhead filled nose? CLEAR. Completely. It just wiped it all out! More than anything else, ever! I was gobsmacked, I honestly was! Then I dried my face.. smooth as a babies backside! Honestly! My skin felt so smooth, even, looked clear. Well.. after the redness had gone after a short while, I dunno if it was the mask or just me.. it left my face red after removing it, but didn’t take long to go away. My skins texture was even, all over. Usually my TZone feels oily and yet dry at the same time, my cheek bones are usually insanely dry and feel rough to touch. This fixed all of that.

Applying the moisturiser was soothing, it felt watery and a little went a long way, I got 3 uses out of it. Though I’m not sure if it really did much for my skin, it just feels… normal? after using it.

Would I purchase this? Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! It’s been a while since my skin has felt quite this good and healthy! I’m glad I stuck it out till the end because it is just amazing!

This is what happens when I let my boyfriend play with my nail polishes… These aren’t all of them.. though that is all of those brands minus barry M Glitters (2x), Top coats (2x) and crackles (x3). Just those are the only ones really stackable and he gave up. I had 120 that we could count, I know I have more that I can’t put my hands on… I have a little bag full of brand new unsued ones including Revlon Red, one of the newest Rimmel colours and a few others but I can’t find it >.< There are lots of colours by other brands I have too like No7 (Mostly minis) 17, Revlon, China Glaze, O.P.I minis and stuff that aren’t shown here.

Yesterday I signed up for Hello Cotton. There are now bars for Facebook, Hello Cotton and BlogLovin’ in my side bar that match, that I made myself. As with the butterfly that has returned to the header! I dug out the PSD and added it back in at last. I decided to leave my vectored lipstick and polish up there too. All illustrated by my self, of course, as well as the graphics made by my self.

Semi-matte and glossy nails! Tape up the tip before applying my Matte Top Coat by beautyUK. I quite like these Not perfect but meh. Had to use ordinary tape. Had to make it less sticky first though.

I would have used something other than MUA tbh but I couldn’t see any of my other black polishes and I realised I’d not actually used this yet. Got it free with 2 bottles of Coke in Superdrug last summer.

Before a short time ago, I had never tried a hair mask before. Ever. On a trip to superdrug, I noticed lots of Herbal Essences were cheaps! So I grabbed me tousled shampoo and conditioner, I also picked up this hair mask , all at less than half their usual price. Otherwise, I’d have not bothered and stuck with Superdrugs own brand cheap stuff.

I also went, ended up buying another tub of this, the matching shampoo, and the tousle mask too (which isn’t as good as this imo, the effect wasn’t a whole lot different to the ordinary conditioner for me.

I tried this out. Left it in like it says, washed it out and dried my hair. I was astounded. I honestly wasn’t expecting much. Just thought it was a pot of conditioner. I was wrong. My hair was the softest it has EVER been, felt so much thicker, looked it, tame, smooth, a little more glossy. Wow. I can not rave about how just how amazing I found this product to be!

I was surprised at the shade of pink it was though. It felt like ordinary conditioner in my hair. I ended up buying the shampoo (as previously mentioned) and I felt like a luscious little pony! I’ve already used up this pot, glad I got another. Though going to finish the tousle one first. When you’re done? Peel the stickers off… the tub makes a handy storage container! Mine is my new brush pot!

So pretty! @_@ I really like this. It still doesn’t look as opaque as I’d like on the third coat, it has a watery-ish consistency. Could apply over a base coat of a similar colour if you wanted I guess!

I got this for £2.99 instead of the usual £3.99 so cost-wise, it’s not so bad. To be honest, if it was the usual price, I would have not bothered.

Love it though. It’s gorgeous. You can see very small amounts of purple in it, it’s very dazzley! What do you think. Do you have this? Plan to get it?

One of the new Skin Heroes range. Product I was very excited to try this too! I tried it out when I tried the break out mask. Not quite at the exact same time of course. My nose is always quite problematic. Blackheads, huge pores. You know the deal! So I was looking forward to trying this.

You get three pore strips in a pack, and they are all individually wrapped in the packet. Wet nose, apply, standard proceedure! I much preferred their scent to my tea-tree ones.. though I can’t really describe it.

It works. I’d show you the after.. but god it was bloody gross.. You could see that it had really pulled some horrible stuff out of my nose. Brilliant! But gross!

My fella also tried them too. Oh wow, his strip.. gross! His nose is still ‘orrible, but it really did make a difference, you could see it well, especially looking at the strip! Would I buy these? Well.. they’re very good but at £1.49 a packet, that’s like 50p a strip! :/ I still may treat myself.
